Traditional Kitchen Photo Shoot

I love photographing kitchens for local designers!  They are always amazing and are so much fun to photograph.  Each kitchen is different and each come with their unique obstacles to get the lighting and composition just right.

I recently had the chance to photograph this amazing traditional style kitchen on the Anchorage Hillside for Danielle Bohn of Creative Kitchen Design, Inc.

Something I always try and do while on a kitchen photoshoot with a designer is to ask them what are some of the special features, or things the homeowner loves about their kitchen.  This particular kitchen had some cool drawer ideas as well as some special cabinets the homeowner wanted to showcase her dishes.

In addition to capturing the designer's and homeowner's favorite features, I always make sure to get a couple of mine.

I really like the farm style sink and had to get a few shots of that!

Kitchen Remodel Photography for Creative Kitchen Design, Inc.

It has been so fun to watch the work of Anchorage Kitchen Designer - Danielle Bohn get better and better with each new project.  We have been lucky enough to work with her and photograph some of the most recent kitchen designs.

Danielle was recently honored by the NKBA as one of the 30 under 30 and we are so proud of her accomplishments thus far.  We can't wait to see what the future holds for this young talented designer.

Here are the photos from our recent photo shoot;

The Showroom

Main Showroom Floor

Over the past several years I have had the opportunity to work with Hollie and Danielle at Creative Kitchen Designs, Inc. many times.  I thoroughly enjoy photographing some of their kitchen designs, as well as bathrooms, mud rooms, laundry rooms, and pretty much any room you can install cabinets and countertops.  Recently they commissioned me to photograph their showroom for a NKBA - National Kitchen and Bath Association contest.

I had visited their showroom before so I knew what to expect on the day of the shoot.  I hadn't really payed attention to the details until I actually picked up the camera and started to make pictures.  This place has an incredible amount of material and ideas for such a small space!  I was really impressed!  From Kitchens to Bathrooms they had a great display of many different options.
